The AEM AHT-128 is a compact, PC-controlled Cable Harness Tester designed for manufacturing lines, quality assurance, and service troubleshooting. Unlike the handheld field certifiers in the TestPro or NSA families, this is a benchtop testing system focused entirely on multi-point wire harness configurations.

Key Capabilities

Defect Detection: Instantly detects and isolates open circuits, short circuits, and faulty pin-to-pin continuity.
Resistance Measurement: Measures loop and contact resistance ranging from 0.1 Ω to 100 Ω with an accuracy threshold of ±0.1 Ω.
Scalable Testing Points: Out of the box, a single unit provides 128 test points. Multiple units can be cascaded together via an expansion setup to handle up to 1,024 test points in increments of 128.
Fast Bench Operations: Features a testing speed of roughly 200 milliseconds per port for rapid production cycles.

Software & Integration

Managed via the Windows-based Cable Harness Tester Manager PC software over a standard USB interface.
Supports Auto-Learn functionality, allowing the system to scan a known good "golden cable" assembly to create custom test profiles automatically.
Accepts custom test limit setups uploaded directly via CSV files.
Integrates seamlessly with production tools such as barcode scanners for rapid tracking and serial logging.
